2022 Toyota Corolla Cross

While the Corolla goes largely unchanged for 2022, the Corolla Cross is a crossover version of the Corolla that nearly doubles the cargo space to 25.5 cubic feet. The 2022 Corolla Cross offers both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive and rides on a new high-strength platform. It uses the stronger of the regular Corolla’s two engine choices: a 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine with 169 horsepower.

Toyota bZ4X Concept

Toyota Motor North America’s headquarters recently announced the Toyota bZ4X concept, which will make its North American premiere in mid-2022. This SUV concept is built on the new e-TNGA battery-EV-specific platform. This platform places the battery low in the middle of the frame, creating an ideal center of gravity for performance driving. The b74X also boasts a new all-wheel-drive system, up to 250 miles of electric range per charge, and a spacious, advanced interior with class-leading legroom.

2022 Toyota GR 86

Toyota improved its GR 86 sports car’s handling and horsepower ratings for 2022, as well as updating the interior and creating an even more aerodynamic exterior. On the manual variant, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder boxer engine replaces the 2.0-liter unit from before, increasing horsepower from 205 to 228 and torque from 156 to 184 pound-feet. The car’s zero-to-100 mph speed improves from 7.2 to 6.3 seconds. Outside, new colors, LED lights, and a ducktail is available for the Premium trim level.

2022 Toyota GR Supra A91-CF Edition

The GR Supra takes the Supra, Toyota’s signature affordable compact sports low-rider, up another level. The 2022 Supra A91-CF Edition has been announced as a limited-release GR Supra with enhanced performance characteristics. Notable enhancements over the GR Supra include a new carbon fiber front splitter, bigger and lower canards, carbon fiber side rockers, and a carbon fiber duckbill spoiler.

2022 Toyota Tacoma, TRD Pro, and Trail Edition

Among a few lighter changes, the midsize Tacoma now uses a locking rear differential standard and was given a 1.1-inch front lift and half-inch rear lift on the suspension. The next-generation Tacoma TRD Pro will sport new Fox internal bypass shocks engineered for superior TRD on-road and off-road performance. Perhaps the most important adjustment is a higher suspension lift: 1.5 inches higher upfront and 0.5 inches higher at the back.

Finally, the Toyota Tacoma Trail Edition returns all-new for 2022. It all begins with an SR5 4×4 double cab body type. This roomier body rides on custom 16-inch bronze TRD wheels. The wheels use hefty Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tires that are 0.5 inches wider than the regular factory versions.

2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport

Another notable change on the 2022 lineup is the TRD Sport off-road edition of the 4Runner full-size SUV. It begins with a conventional 4Runner SR5 model and then adds color-keyed elements on the rocker panels, body moldings, and front grille. Each model gets a new TRD-style hood scoop, a front spoiler, and black roof rails. It also now comes with machined-faced 20-inch wheels with dark gray highlights and a full-sized spare tire. Drivers will love the heated and power seats wrapped in SofTex with gray contrast stitching.

2022 Toyota Prius Nightshade Edition

The 2022 Toyota Prius offers a new Nightshade special edition, which includes black-colored headlamp highlights, mirror caps, door handles, and black shark fin antenna, along with a color-keyed rear deck spoiler. Black 17-inch wheels (front-wheel drive) or 15-inch alloy wheels (all-wheel drive) are also included. Inside, the Nightshade adds power-adjustable and heated front seats and covers both rows in SofTex upholstery.

2022 Toyota Tundra

The third-generation Toyota Tundra makes its debut in 2022 with new architecture, turbocharged powertrains (including a hybrid), updated looks, and available wireless charging. Toyota aims for what they call a “technical muscle” look. Angular headlights flank a huge grille that varies with each of the six diverse trim levels. The new baseline engine is a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6, and the TRD Pro now gets switchable off-road driving modes, off-road crawl-speed cruise control, and hill-descent control.

2022 Toyota Camry and TRD

The 2022 Camry TRD has a new trim-exclusive two-tone Calvary Blue with a black roof option in place of the Ice Edge color, which was moved to the lower trims of the standard Camry. The Camry TRD’s interior now has red and black seat inserts instead of white and black. LE and SE trims with gas engines now get dual-zone temperature control, a three-mode drive switch, and sun visors with LED vanity mirrors.

The 2022 Camry SE Hybrid Nightshade Edition joins the premium trim’s gas models. Black mirrors, window trim, door handles, shark fin antenna, 18-inch wheels, and rear emblems are standard.

2022 Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition

For 2022, Toyota has added a Woodland Edition to the hybrid Sienna minivan. The Sienna Woodland is an all-wheel-drive model with outdoor-themed features and attachments including a tow hitch, a roof rack, and a 1500-watt power outlet. A 0.6-inch raise kit is also provided to improve ground clearance.

2022 Toyota C-HR

The 2022 Toyota C-HR enters the next model year with a few minor revisions. Toyota’s new 8-inch infotainment system is 2.4 times quicker than its existing one, and this upgrade will appear on C-HR models by the start of 2022. Except for the entry-level Icon model, this faster infotainment system will be standard across all trim levels.

2022 Toyota RAV4, Hybrid, and Prime

Toyota has made changes to the hit RAV4 crossover lineup. Most notably, it now offers a SE Hybrid edition with cloth upholstery, a 7-inch touchscreen, and six-speaker audio. It can also be equipped with heated front seats, a sunroof, a motorized tailgate, and a 9-inch replacement touchscreen. Updated headlights on all vehicles at or above the XLE grade give drivers increased safety in lower-visibility conditions.
