The Best Used Vehicles

Of course, a brand new Toyota is not right for everyone, which is why we also have a fantastic selection of used vehicles for you to choose from. In fact, we can have many more used models here at our dealership than we have brand new ones. With a new car, you have lots of options, trim levels, and available features that you can choose from to customize the perfect ride for your needs. When shopping for a used vehicle at a Toyota dealership near you, however, you cannot make those kinds of changes.

That is why our tremendous variety of used cars, trucks, and SUVs make your life simple by giving you plenty of different builds and features to check out. Choosing a used model does not mean you should have to settle for something that really does not meet your needs. By offering you so many different vehicles to choose from, we can more easily help you find the ride that will work best for you and make sure you drive away completely happy.

Certified Pre-Owned Toyotas

With a used car, the biggest concern a lot of our customers have is the history of the vehicle – since it had a previous owner, there is always a worry about what it has been through. With a Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, however, you get the peace of mind that comes from knowing you are in the best pre-owned car, truck, or SUV on the market. Every Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicle has to pass a rigorous inspection to ensure it is in the very best condition possible before being sold.

Since these are the very best used models on the road, our selection is quite limited. In fact, we do not always have CPO models in stock, which means if you see one you are interested in, then you should act quickly. You will only find Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicles at a Toyota dealership near you, not from a private seller.

Once you drive away, we pride ourselves on being the place you can turn to for years to come whenever you need maintenance, routine service, or any other repairs. Finding yourself in need of vehicle repairs can be frustrating – and not knowing who to turn to only makes it worse. By offering you expert service and maintenance, we take all of that uncertainty and stress off of your shoulders and let you drive easy.

We also have a fully stocked Toyota parts department ready to help you with anything you need. We use original manufacturer parts whenever possible to ensure the work we do on your vehicle is not only done properly but with the components your Toyota was meant to work with.

This means we are the Toyota dealership that can help you with the parts you need to do your own maintenance, or with parts for our service center. We keep a large selection of Toyota parts on-hand to make our work quick and easy – and if we do not have it, then we can order it and get it here fast.

Benefits of Toyota Certified Pre-Owned

One of the many benefits of buying a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Toyota is the value of buying a Toyota car, whether new or used. Toyota makes a good product, which means that its vehicles last longer and have a higher resale value than most other vehicles on the road. Buying a low mileage Toyota then makes perfect sense. While you don’t have to pay as much as you would for a new car, you still get the excellent resale value and dependability, just at a reduced cost. Toyota is committed to quality, innovation, and durability, and has one of the most comprehensive certification programs. So let’s take a look at what makes this certification program stand out among other manufacturers, and what gives the Toyota brand so much built-in value. Choosing to buy a Toyota is a smart move.

Along with Toyota’s commitment to quality cars and its exceptional reputation, Toyota’s Certified Pre-Owned program features many advantages. For one, you get an incredible coverage policy. This policy brings peace of mind and shows how much Toyota believes in their vehicles. The policy offers a 12-month/12,000-mile limited comprehensive warranty as well as a 7-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty. And if that’s not enough, there’s also a full year of roadside assistance included.

Certification Standards

The cars are all put through a rigorous process to ensure that they are road-ready and dependable vehicles. And we have you in mind too, every step of the way. Only vehicles that meet stringent qualifications are considered for the program. The vehicles can be current-year models up to six-year-old models. And each vehicle must have 85,000 miles or less on the odometer. Once they qualify, they are then put through a CARFAX vehicle history report to ensure that there are no issues with their history and that we are only offering the best of the best. If they do not have any blemishes on their report, then they are put through a rigorous 160-point inspection by Toyota factory-trained technicians to make sure there are no unseen issues with the vehicle. This way, you know you are getting a vehicle in top shape. Only the best vehicles pass inspection and receive the Toyota Certified Seal of approval.

Other perks of Toyota’s Certified Pre-Owned program include a free CARFAX vehicle history report so you can get to know your vehicle better and know that it has a clean history. Standard new-car financing rates are also available with this program, so you can be sure to find a loan that fits your budget. Extended warranty coverage is also available. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible customer service and the highest quality cars on the road, and this forms the driving principle behind everything we do.

Things to Do in and around Pittsburgh

At Colonial Toyota, we are deeply invested in the community, so we thought we would share some of our favorite things to do in the Pittsburgh area.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

We’d like to start with a green oasis that can be found in the middle of Pittsburgh’s vibrant Oakland neighborhood. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens provides a world-class garden experience to its visitors. Founded in 1893, this is truly a wonderful place to explore and bring the family. Discover the beauty and wonders of nature at Phipps. With 15 acres, including a 14-room glasshouse and 23 distinct gardens, there is lots of room to explore. Learn from industry-leading sustainable architecture and green practices, stunning seasonal flower shows, exclusive commissioned exhibits, and renowned orchid and bonsai collections. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is only a few miles from downtown Pittsburgh in Schenley Park.

Mount Washington

At the top of Mount Washington, an awe-inspiring view awaits. This is in one of the most visited neighborhoods in Pittsburgh and features the opportunity to wine and dine with a view, sample Grandview Bakery’s sweet confections, hike to the newest city park, Emerald View, or catch your breath at the “Point of View” statue. A young George Washington once stood along what is now Grandview Avenue and mapped the geography below for the British. It is a great place for a day trip, set along the southern banks of the Monongahela River and Ohio River.

Duquesne Incline

If you have ever wondered what a century-old cable car looks like or just want to take a step back in time, we recommend the Duquesne Incline. Here are some of the best views of downtown Pittsburgh. Take a ride on one of the few remaining inclines in the country. It has been restored and delights residents and tourists alike to this day. You can even visit the interior of the incline and see how the machinery works. There’s also a museum of local history, which includes photos and a storehouse of information on inclines from all around the world, as well as a gift shop.

Strip District

If you want to have a fun afternoon, head on over to the Strip District. Here you will find converted warehouses and a vibrant mix of old-style grocers and gourmet food. There are street stands selling produce and t-shirts, as well as bars and classic Italian restaurants. Cruise on over to the Heinz History Center, where you will find an eclectic collection of cultural artifacts and a sports museum. There are also contemporary and classical works staged at the Pittsburgh Opera, and the Pennsylvania Railroad Fruit Auction Building to check out.

Point State Park

As a point of historical interest, we recommend Point State Park. This was a key spot during the French and Indian War, and now offers stunning views of the city as well as a variety of outdoor recreation. A state park located on 36 acres at the confluence of three rivers, it is at the tip of Pittsburgh’s “Golden Triangle.” Here you will find a variety of environmental education and recreation programs.
